Review:

Binding 13 by Chloe Walsh is an amazing YA read! It has great characterization, fun dialogue, and keeps me glued into the end. I loved the characters! Johnny and Shannon are the typical stereotype characters but with major twists. They are in the roles that most books feature in a typical romance. Nothing about them is typical though. They are more three dimensional and have so much depth. The hero tries to play it cool but is terrible at hiding his real feelings for the girl of his heart. Shannon comes from a bad place and still struggles with all that but her and Johnny are the highlights to this read. What Shannon struggles with is heartbreaking…her moments with Johnny show how strong and smart she is. It proves difficult to not get emotionally attached to these protagonists. Hopes, fears, dread, and dreams all are in this one epic read. These two have a long journey ahead of them before they get to their grand finale.
